From the North leave the M6 at junction 40 and take the A66 west for approximately 35 miles, then the A595 towards Whitehaven. Keeping on the A595 by-passing the town centre and continue until you turn right at the signpost for St Bees. At the t-junction at the top of the hill turn left onto the B5345 towards St Bees. Follow signs to the beach.

From the south leave the M6 at junction 36 and take the A590 towards Barrow in Furness, continue on the A5092 by passing Barrow in Furness to join the A595, after about 40 miles turn left towards St Bees once in the village continue down the main street and turn left following signs for the beach.

Continue past The Seacote Hotel and beach car park take the first turning right then right again into Abbotts Way following this road round to the left, Badgers Sett is on the right.
